* History: On April 20, 2019, Chris Sumrell and Tyler Head, local Chattanooga farmers with over 20 years experience in their field, opened the first FarmToMed store on Hixson Pike. After two years, FarmToMed opened an indoor growing, processing, and production facility located at 4120 South Creek Road, and the main store is now located at 502 North Market St.
* Mission: FarmToMed operates under a permit by the Tennessee Department of Agriculture for hemp production. Their mission is to create high-quality, clean and locally sourced CBD products their customers can trust. FarmToMed is part of every step in the process, from growing safe and healthy plants to compounding ingredients for final products.
* Products and Services: FarmToMed begins by growing the highest quality organic cannabis/hemp flower in order to produce pure, full spectrum CBD extract, preserving the maximum wellness benefits possible to be derived from the plant. Once extracted, the oil is independently and third-party lab tested and verified for accurate product proportions.
FarmToMed tinctures, lotions, and honey are created by hand in a commercial kitchen in Chattanooga, creating a unique seed-to-sale operation. FarmToMed rotates four to five different smokable flowers for customers to buy on a weekly basis. They partner with Belle Chocolate to make CBD-infused chocolates.
