Amanda Mayo Leming is the new Director of Operations and Special Projects at River City Company. For the past 11 years, she has worked in property management, focusing on business development and project management. Since 2009, Leming has worked in property management, focusing on business development and project management. During that time, she spent over seven years focused on multi-family housing in the greater Chattanooga area. She has served more than three years on the Nightingale Network Grant Committee for the Women's Fund of Greater Chattanooga, and previously spent two years as the Secretary on the Board of Directors to the Nooga Diversity Center.

Callie Starnes is named Station Manager of WRCB, Chattanooga's NBC affiliate. Starnes first joined WRCB in 2008. After serving as an anchor and investigative reporter for several years, Starnes was named Assistant News Director. She has led the news department since being named News Director in 2016. Prior to becoming News Director, Starnes served as Relationship Manager at a Chattanooga public relations firm. Starnes is a graduate of Berry College with a Degree in Communications. She has been honored with multiple Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards and recognized by the Tennessee Associated Press for investigative reporting.

Fance Brannock is the new Director of Program Operations for Girls Inc. of Chattanooga. Brannock has been a part of the Girls Inc. staff since 2014 as a program coordinator, working with young girls across Hamilton County through literacy programming and seasonal camps. In her new role, Brannock is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with community partners, schools and community champions to ensure that programming remains relevant. Hixson is responsible for growing and evaluating the fund development profile enabling Girls Inc. of Chattanooga to serve more girls annually.

Justin Morse, M.D., joins Associates in E.N.T.- Head and Neck Surgery in Chattanooga. Morse completed his undergraduate education at Baylor University and in medical school spent an extra year performing grant-funded research in craniofacial reconstruction and developing an outreach program as part of an Albert Schweitzer Fellowship to provide mobile health care to underserved populations. He then transitioned back to Tennessee where he completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. He currently is an active member and involved with the American Academy of Otolaryngology, American Rhinologic Society, and North American Skull Base Society.

Leah Williams joins Oaklyn Consulting as an investor communications consultant. In this role, Williams helps Oaklyn's client base of entrepreneurs and business owners present the story of their businesses to investors and lenders in a clear, persuasive way. Drawing from a background in writing and graphic design and her own business experience, she will combine the elements of clients' business plans into compelling presentations that focus on the needs of capital providers. Williams comes to Oaklyn with 13 years of combined experience in writing and presentation design during which she's supported some of the world's most respected ad agencies, brands, tech and media companies.

EDGE on the move

Beverly Edge is promoted to partner for HHM CPAs. Edge remains chief operating officer and general counsel as she steps into her new partnership role. Edge joined HHM CPAs in 2020 as chief operating officer and general counsel. A practicing attorney for more than 20 years, Edge arrived to HHM CPAS equipped to step into an operations role focusing on improving the overall client experience and driving firm growth. Prior to her role at HHM CPAs, she was a member at a local law firm where she handled mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, aircraft transactions and general representation of closely held businesses.

Dr. Mounzer Yassin-Kassab is appointed medical director of Erlanger Neurology. He is board-certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, vascular neurology (stroke) and epilepsy. He will also serve as professor of neurology and chairman of the department of neurology at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. Yassin-Kassab is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society. He completed a neurology residency and two accredited fellowships in clinical neurophysiology and vascular neurology at Southwestern Medical Center, affiliated with the University of Texas in Dallas. He has participated in numerous national and international clinical trials, is well-published and has given national and international presentations on stroke and epilepsy topics.

Marissa Bell joins Waterhouse Public Relations as vice president with a focus on strategy, business development and delivering results for clients. With more than a decade of experience as a communications professional, Bell's background includes digital media, broadcasting, public relations, government affairs and marketing. Bell comes to WPR from the Chattanooga Tourism Co., where she promoted the city to visitors through collaboration with partners and local, regional and national travel journalists and influencers. She also launched the company's newest publication. Having previously worked for WPR, Bell returns with additional experience and new credentials including Accreditation in Public Relations through the Public Relations Society of America.

Dr. Wade Lenz joins CHI Memorial Family Practice Associates — Ooltewah. Lenz earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He completed an internship and residency in family practice at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, Georgia. Lenz is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Lenz joins Dr. William Bates, Dr. Mark Crago, Dr. Kent Grotefendt, Dr. Bruce Johnson, and Dr. Allen Sherwood and a clinical staff of advance practice nurses, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and medical assistants.

William Probasco joins The Trust Company of Tennessee as a client specialist based in the firm's Chattanooga office. Probasco earned a bachelor's degree in sports management with a minor in business from the University of Tennessee in 2012. He previously served as account manager for Genesco Sports Enterprises in Dallas, Texas, and marketing manager for the New York Yankees.
