For more than 30 years, Rock/Creek has been helping you find the right gear for your outdoor needs. Now, they want to take you outside to use it.

Rock/Creek Adventures is a comprehensive guide and rental service that started with a question: "What's the best way to promote local conservation?" The answer: Take folks to the places that need to be conserved. Teach them about the plants that grow there, tell them the stories surrounding the area's historical significance, show them those waterfalls. Help people fall in love with an area; because people who love our landscapes will want to protect them.

The trips are educational, beginner-friendly, half-day experiences designed to showcase the very best of Chattanooga's outdoor spaces. Head guide and Adventures Director Crisler Torrence will make you feel right at home with his easy-going demeanor, and has spent the better part of his life leading commercial trips across the country.

Regardless of the adventure you choose, you're guaranteed to leave with a deep appreciation for protected land and the organizations behind them.

If you already know the best spots to recreate but need gear, the rentals side of RCA will still make sure you're outfitted properly. The equipment comes from reputable brands like Jackson kayak, Perception kayak, and Specialized bikes. From cruising the Riverwalk to shredding Raccoon Mountain singletrack or floating down the Tennessee River, there's something for everyone in the fleet.

All rentals come with everything you need, including helmets and personal flotation devices. If you need help transporting the equipment there's also racks for all types of vehicles available for rent.

Long story short: Conservation and recreation go hand in hand. Rock/Creek Adventures introduces people to local natural areas so they understand the need to maintain and improve access for future generations.
