CPA review program offered

Lee University's Department of Business will begin its fall Certified Public Accountant Review Program, a public seminar to prepare for the CPA exam, on Monday, Aug. 9, in Walker Memorial Building on the Cleveland, Tenn., campus.

The program will be a four-month intensive seminar, meeting 6-10 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays. It will be taught by Gregory Della Franco, a professor in Lee's Department of Business.

The program costs $1,500 and will be taught in four sessions. Session 1 on Business Environment and Concept is Aug. 9-Sept. 2. Session 2 will focus on Regulation from Sept. 6-30. Auditing and Attestation will be the focus of Session 3, Oct. 4-28. Session 4, from Nov. 8 to Dec. 9, will cover Financial Accounting and Reporting.

The course will use the 39th edition of BISK CPA Review, Multimedia Software and Textbooks. The four-volume set costs $605 in addition to the cost of the course.
