The Urban League of Greater Chattanooga and the Association for Visual Arts are issuing a call for art for "Inclusion by Design," a juried exhibition of 2-D work. "Inclusion by Design" is the theme of the Urban League's 30th year of operation.
Eligible work includes paintings, photography and two-dimensional mixed media that interpret the theme. Twenty to 25 works will be selected.
Submit digital images to James McKissic at jmckissic@ulchatt.net by Oct. 12. Submit the work itself on that date. Artists will be notified of the status of their work by 5 p.m. on Oct. 17. A brief statement about interpretation of the theme is encouraged.
A reception for the "Inclusion by Design" exhibition will be Oct. 25.
