You might have seen him at The Comedy Catch in Brainerd over the years, or maybe you caught his 2007 Riverbend show, but comedian Tim Wilson will offer another chance to laugh at this year's festival.

It is not too great a stretch to have Wilson perform at a music festival since songs such as "The Jeff Gordon Song," "Chucky Cheese Hell," "Almost Shot Santa Claus" and "I Think My Sister's Boy Is a Vampire" have long been a part of his show.

He's also written such memorable tunes as "Church League Softball Fistfight" and "It Just Got Country Over Here." He also co-wrote "Redneck 12 Days of Christmas" with fellow comic Jeff Foxworthy.

Wilson has recorded more than a dozen albums, in addition to doing several comedy specials for television, and he is a staple of syndicated radio. All that means Wilson's show will include some stand-up material and songs.

As an added bonus, Wilson has been working with guitarist whiz Scotty Bratcher, who will perform on the same stage immediately following Wilson's set.

To add a little local flavor to his lengthy resume, Wilson co-wrote a book, "Happy New Year -- ted" about serial killer Ted Bundy, with Chattanooga comic Roger Keiss.
