Clark BeckhamClark Beckham, the Lee University alumnus competing for the title of American Idol, advanced again Wednesday night into the top seven finalists.
Beckham, 22, sang Ed Sheeran's "Make It Rain" in keeping with the episode's theme of songs on Billboard's Hot 100.
Jason Derulo was Beckham's celebrity mentor this week. Derulo told Beckham he needed to "pop his collar, get his swag up" to improve his stage presence. Jennifer Lopez took that advice one step further during her critique of his performance.
"That was so amazing. It's effortless the way you sing. But the style and image have to fit," she advised, adding he needed to work on the whole package to make it to the finale.
The winner of Season 14 will be crowned May 13.
