Lee University alumnus Clark Beckham advanced into the top five finalists on Wednesday night's episode of "American Idol," gaining a spot in this summer's "American Idol Live" tour.
The 22-year-old singer from White House, Tenn., performed the Beatles' "Yesterday" and Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend."
Arena anthems was the Fox show's theme.
"American Idol Live" kicks off a 37-city tour on July 7. It stops in Nashville for a show in Ryman Auditorium on July 17. Tickets are $53.50-$73.50. Only the top five finalists from Season 14 will travel with the tour, a change from previous years when all 10 finalists went on the road.
