"Voice" season nine winner Jordan Smith just keeps on breaking records with his vocal abilities.

Smith of Harlan, Ky., released his debut album, "Something Beautiful," on March 18. It's claimed the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Top 200, allowing Smith to get the highest ranking on the chart by a winner of a singing competition in around five years, according to a release from Republic Records.

With his album debut, Smith also broke the record for the highest album sales from a new artist in 2016 and holds the record for most first-week album sales for a winner of NBC's "The Voice," the release said.
