Women of Distinction of Greater Chattanooga announces the names of 10 local women who will be honored in October as the 2019 Women of Distinction.
This year's honorees are Linda Collins, Gina Dhanani, Jennifer Ellis, Autumn Graves, Everlena Holmes, Kari Hudson, Carol Newton, Lila Statom, Angie Supan and Nicole Watson.
Honorees are chosen from applications submitted by the community. Winners are selected based on leadership, volunteerism, civic involvement and standards that encourage other women to achieve their full potential.
"We are thrilled to be honoring these remarkable women in our community," said steering committee member Lynda Hood. "This year's honorees have set themselves apart through their civic, cultural, philanthropic and environmental commitments."
The Women of Distinction luncheon will be held Friday, Oct. 25, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Chattanooga Convention Center. Tickets are $75.
