Larry "DaddyBurns" and Barbara Burns of Signal Mountain celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 31 at Signal Mountain Golf and Country Club with a cocktail reception hosted by their children and grandchildren.
A family member reports that Mrs. Burns was asked how to explain her long and happy marriage.
She replied, "I can only explain the LONG of it."
