Casting agents have sent out a call for anyone struggling at an extreme weight - 600 pounds or heavier - for a new reality series based in Georgia.

According to Crazy Legs Productions, the series will follow a morbidly obese individual on a journey of extreme weight loss aided by bariatric surgery performed by Dr. Charles Procter Jr. of Beltline Bariatric & Surgical Group based in Atlanta.

Producers say the participant will benefit from support on and off-camera during each step of the process, from doctor appointments to challenges of eating healthier and exercising to finding out if they qualify for surgery and having the procedure if they do.

Candidates, or their friends and family, can go to CrazyLegsProductions.com and click on the Now Casting tab to fill out the application. Questions on the form include: "Will you have a hard time changing your lifestyle? and "What foods will be the most difficult to give up?"

While most of Procter's patients weigh around 300 to 400 pounds, the show centers on his larger patients, some of whom tip the scales at more than 750 pounds. Some patients are so large, they are unable to visit the office in person and require a home visit.

In a year, most participants are able to lose 100 to 300 pounds, according to producers. "Even more importantly," says a news release, "the weight loss results in dramatically improved lives, with a reduction of obesity-related diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and sleep apnea."
