Mad Priest bartender Morgan Young will present an online how-to episode on Wednesday, April 8, as part of the social initiative Tip Your Bartender, which was created to allow viewers to connect with and support their bartenders online during the coronavirus pandemic.

Created by the online industry platform Punchdrink.com, the episodes feature a different bartender from around the country each weeknight at 5 p.m. ET presenting a different cocktail. Tipping is encouraged and goes directly to the featured bar team via Venmo.

For every dollar donated, Bacardi Limited will match it with an equal gift to Restaurant Workers Community Foundation.

You can watch and donate on the Mad Priest Facebook page or @punch_drink on Instagram.

Owner Michael Rice, who presented his own version of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire: The Cocktail Edition" last week as a way to raise money for local bartenders, said he is honored the bar will be a part of the Tip Your Bartender event.

"It's quite an honor as these are some pretty well-known people in the industry," he said, adding that the event serves a couple of purposes.

'These are the kind of things that we want to be a part of, that shine a light on the professionalism in the industry, and maybe help people, too."

Young will be making a house favorite called the Isle de Cristo, a summertime drink with tequila, peach liquor and Liquor 43 tiki bitters and a saline solution.

"It's a fairly simple drink with simple ingredients that we wanted to be fairly simple to make at home," he said.
