Single performance tickets are now available for the Broadway at the Memorial Auditorium series set to begin Oct. 25-27 with the hit show "Waitress."
Typically held at the Tivoli Theatre, the series will be held in its entirety at Memorial Auditorium for a variety of reasons, primarily because the Tivoli Center renovation work will begin in February or March of 2022.
Tivoli Foundation executive director Nick Wilkinson said earlier this year that the foundation's board didn't want to confuse patrons by shifting in midseason and that it wanted patrons to see the renovation work done at the larger Memorial venue and perhaps get used to the idea of seeing a larger Broadway show such as "The Lion King" there.
"We are as thrilled as ever for the upcoming season, both for the great shows and the ability to bring our community back together to celebrate the performing arts only the way a great Broadway show can," Wilkinson said.
"This year, we will be moving Broadway to the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium as we continue making plans and begin a full restoration of the Tivoli Theatre."
In addition to single performance tickets, the Tivoli Theatre Foundation offers season subscriptions. Three package options are available, and subscribers can buy all six titles or customize a package of four or five titles. Buyers can save 10% buying all six titles. Yearly subscribers can get the same seats on an annual basis. Additional subscription benefits include first notification of next year's season, free same-show ticket exchanges and the opportunity to purchase additional tickets before they go on sale to the general public.
