- Family Fun Day at the Hunter Museum of American Art, 10 Bluff View, will offer "a creative, hands-on afternoon" centered on the current exhibit, "Power, Passion & Pose: Photographs by Ken Browar and Deborah Ory." Visitors can explore the exhibition for inspiration for their own art activities, as well as enjoy interactive sound with local musician Carl Cadwell. The museum is open from noon to 5 p.m., and special activities are available from 2 to 4 p.m. Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status. - Point Park admission will be free on Wednesday in celebration of the National Park Service's 105th birthday. Normally, entry fee is $10 for ages 16 and older. Another fee-free day is coming up Sept. 25, National Public Lands Day. Located at 110 Point Park Road in Lookout Mountain, Tennessee, the 10-acre memorial park has a paved walkway that takes visitors by tablets, monuments and scenic overlooks that help tell the story of the famed Civil War "Battle Above the Clouds." - Guy Penrod, one of the most recognizable figures in gospel music, will perform Thursday at Howe Farms, 7600 Runyan Road in Georgetown, Tennessee. The Grammy and Dove Award winner sang with the Gaither Vocal Band from 1994 to 2008, when he left to pursue a solo career. His tour stop here benefits Street Grace, whose mission is to eradicate the commercial sexual exploitation of children. - Animal Crackers, featuring talents from the Cleveland Storytelling Guild and beyond sharing their favorite stories about animals, is 7-8 p.m. Thursday at the Museum Center at Five Points, 200 E. Inman St. in Cleveland, Tennessee. Guests will gather in the courtyard for the event; bring lawn chairs for seating. Animal crackers will be served as refreshments. - Columbus ship: A replica of the Pinta, one of the three ships used by Christopher Columbus on his first transatlantic voyage in 1492, will be docked at the Chattanooga Pier, 200 Riverfront Parkway, for three weeks starting Friday. The caravel will be open for tours 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily through Sept. 19. Admission is $6.50 for adults, $6 for seniors 65 and older, and $5.50 for students ages 5-17. ninapinta.org
- Riverfront Nights winds up its summer season Saturday at Ross's Landing, 100 Riverfront Parkway. Taking the final bows will be Caleb Johnson & the Ramblin' Saints, a rock band fronted by the Season 13 winner of "American Idol."
