U.S. Rep Zach Wamp, R-Tenn., a 2010 Tennessee gubernatorial candidate, held a breakfast this morning at the Chattanooga Choo Choo where about 400 supporters were asked to pull out their checkbooks.

Corky Coker, the Wamp campaign's financial director, asked attendees to write a check for however much they could to support the Chattanooga Republican's campaign.

Speakers at the breakfast included Hamilton County Mayor Claude Ramsey, Chattanooga Mayor Ron Littlefield, state Rep. Gerald McCormick, R-Chattanooga, and state Sen. Bo Watson, R-Hixson.
