The Hamilton County Commission voted unanimously this morning to approve a resolution expressing their disapproval of Chattanooga's annexation efforts.

Several members of the group Hamilton County Residents Against Annexation spoke to commissioners arguing against annexation.

Kyle Holden, president of the anti-annexation group, said the commission's vote would help "put a little teeth into what we're doing."

He said the group is taking donations to fund lawsuits against the city to try to stop annexation from moving forward.
