WINDER, Ga. - Police have arrested 30 people in north Georgia as part of a massive drug sweep.
Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith said the Sunday morning round up is the culmination of three months of work by a joint drug task force. He said there likely would be more arrests.
The Barrow County Crime Task force, formed March, is made up of officers from the Barrow County Sheriff's Office, Winder Police Department, Statham Police Department, Auburn Police Department and the state Department of Pardons and Paroles.
