The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death that occurred at the Juvenile Detention Center of Thursday.
Sheriff's office spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said late Thursday evening that police were actively involved in the death investigation, but it was still in its preliminary stage.
More information will be released as it becomes available, she said.
