Chattanooga's first five hitters went a combined 1-for-18, with a Trayvon Robinson double to left in the eighth inning accounting for the only hit. Tennessee got all the offense it needed with a three-run second inning, which was highlighted by a Tony Thomas triple to right that scored Russ Canzler and Brandon Guyer. The Lookouts dropped to 10-10.

Next game: Game two of a three-game series at Tennessee is tonight at 7:15.

Pitchers: Mario Alvarez (5-4, 4.50) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Rafael Dolia (0-2, 3.95) scheduled for the Smokies.
