MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Despite rallying from 14 points down in the fourth quarter, Tyner lost its Class AA state tournament quarterfinal 61-60 in overtime to Marshall County.
The Rams trailed 45-31 with 7:53 remaining in the fourth before rallying. Reggie Gilmore's putback with eight seconds left in regulation forced overtime and Tyner led by three with 1:46 remaining.
The Rams missed five of six free throws in the final 22 seconds of overtime.
