A Knoxville businessman, W.C. Helton, is hosting a community meeting at the old John P. Franklin Middle School to inform Alton Park residents of a zoning change for the school property. His goal is to have the zoning changed from R-1 residential to M-1 for more commercial use. The meeting is scheduled at 7 p.m. today. All Alton Park residents are asked to attend.
