The inside (left) lane of eastbound SR-311 (U.S. 74, APD-40 bypass) in Bradley County will be closed about a half mile east of the I-75 interchange at Exit 20 in Cleveland today through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, according to a Tennessee Department of Transportation news release.
This closure is needed to allow crews from TDOT's geotechnical consultant to perform core drilling for the future interchange project in this vicinity.
Traffic control measures and an off-duty uniformed law enforcement officer in a marked patrol vehicle will be present to assist motorists through this area.
Motorists are urged to be alert for workers and equipment near the roadway.
