Ultralight pilot hospitalized after crash

A ultralight aircraft crash-landed this evening at the Landing Hang Gliding RV Park on Creek Road in Wildwood, Ga., and at least one person was hospitalized, officials said.

The Dade County Sheriff's Office said the crash was reported at 6:32 p.m. and one person was taken to Erlanger hospital on LifeForce.The sheriff's office spokeswoman was unaware of why the crash happened and would not release the flyer's name.

An employee at the hang gliding park said the crash involved two people, an instructor and a student. She said the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
