The Tennessee Air Guard will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday for its new Chattanooga headquarters at 6511 Bonny Oakes Drive.
The headquarters was opened earlier but the ribbon-cutting was postponed due to inclement weather. The new event is set to start at 10 a.m.
The $8 million, 30,000-square-foot facility will be used to train Airmen, providing engineering, administrative and training
space for the 241st Engineering Installation Squadron.
The property is shared with the U.S. Army Reserve.
