Hamilton County Juvenile Court Judge Suzanne Bailey said long-time courts administrator Chris Albright is "still a part of the family" following his Monday resignation.
Albright and Bailey talked about his resignation last week, she said, but she would not say what reasons Albright gave for resigning. Albright formally turned in his resignation letter Monday morning.
Albright could not be reached for comment.
Bailey said Albright began with the courts as a part-time court referee in the early 1990s and was promoted to the full-time administrator position a few years later.
Court directors Sam Mairs and George Lenoir will split Albright's responsibilities until the position is filled.
Bailey said the staff was more than capable of handling the work in the interim.
