Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn said that the automaker has everything it takes to succeed in America.

"Let's go for it," said Winterkorn, who also was serenaded on his birthday.

The six-year-old child actor, Max Page, used "the force" to help VW officials push a ceremonial red button that opened a wall from a reception area to the main production plant.

The commercial, aired during this year's Super Bowl, received high acclaim as it drew attention to the automaker's ramping up its efforts in the American market through the production of a 2012 Passat at its new, $1 billion Chattanooga plant.
