Michael GarnerOne of Hamilton County's most wanted fugitives was nabbed in Catoosa County, Ga., this morning.
Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force agents had been staking out a Catoosa County home in the Smoketree subdivision for the last week where they believed Michael Garner was staying, said the task force commander Larry Black.
Agents were about to serve Garner a warrant when he left the house, Black said. Following Garner, authorities pulled him over in a traffic stop at a convenient store off Battlefield Parkway and arrested him, Black said.
Garner was wanted in Hamilton County on aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, harassment, vandalism and simple assault charges.
