A Bradley County, Tenn., man has been arrested and police believe he is responsible for a string of home burglaries since early December.

Timothy Phillips, 33, has been charged with two counts of aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000 and additional charges may be filed, said Bradley County Sheriff's spokesman Bob Gault in a news release.

Detectives have been investigating four burglaries that took place from Dec. 7 to Jan. 9 when they had a break through in the case, Gault said. A Nintendo gaming system sold to a business in the area matched the serial numbers from a system stolen from Willbrook Circle, he said.

Phillips was the person who sold the system to the business, Gault said. After searching Phillip's house, police found several thousand dollars worth of stolen property, including a handgun, medication, jewelry and computers.
