Chattanooga Airport officials today chose interim chief Terry Hart to head the facility on a permanent basis.

Hart, who came to the airport four years ago as chief operating officer, will make $140,000 a year as CEO.

Hart was chosen late last year as interim CEO when Mike Landguth took the top job at the airport in Raleigh, N.C.

"I don't take this lightly," Hart said.
