LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A Tennessee attorney has filed to appear on the Democratic presidential primary ballot in May.

John Wolfe filed paperwork Thursday with the Secretary of State's office and paid the $2,500 filing fee to appear on the May 22 ballot. Wolfe is the only Democrat other than President Barack Obama who has qualified to appear on the ballot.

The Chattanooga, Tenn., attorney says he's running because he believes Obama has not been progressive enough on several issues.

Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum have all filed over the past week to appear on the Republican presidential ballot in Arkansas.

The filing period ends at noon Thursday.
