ATLANTA - Police say one person has been fatally shot near a busy intersection in Atlanta.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the shooting occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Friday at Ponce de Leon and Moreland avenues.
Atlanta police Officer John Chafee says homicide investigators were on the scene.
Police say traffic was blocked in the area of the shooting.
