Three people were recently arrested after a traffic stop near Dawson, Ala., on drug charges.
DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris said James E. Hester, 45 of Gadsden; Josh D. Anderson, 30 of Crossville; and Brittany Marie Sherman, 21 of Albertville; were charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. A news release said Hester and Anderson also had warrants from Albertville and Boaz, respectively.
The three were placed in the DeKalb County Detention Center awaiting bonds.
