Authorities in Calhoun, Ga., arrest California murder suspect

On Saturday afternoon, Calhoun, Ga., police, FBI and Conasauga Safe Streets Task Force agents arrested a 21-year-old man wanted in connection with a Los Angeles, Calif., homicide.

Javier Trujillo was taken into custody after a two-day stakeout, Calhoun police Chief Garry Moss said in a news release.

"We received information from LAPD stating on January 13th 2013, as part of a gang initiation, Trujillo participated in the murder of a Los Angeles man as he sat in his vehicle at a traffic light," Moss said.

Authorities in Los Angeles had identified, and arrested, three suspects in the case.

The fourth suspect, Trujillo, is being held in the Gordon County Jail awaiting the arrival of detectives from the Los Angles Police Department and extradition back to California.
