Tennessee PTA is inviting parents to hit the books a couple of weeks before students head back to school.
The group will offer its back-to-school leadership training for parents Wednesday. The training runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Brown International Academy, 718 E. Eighth St.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. The cost is $5 for PTA members and $10 for nonmembers.
