Former Notre Dame High School Principal Perry Storey will now take an administrative role at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Notre Dame's principal for 18 years, Storey next month will become the director of UTC's Challenger STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) Learning Center, which serves some 10,000 students each year. The center is part of an international Challenger Center program that operates 47 centers across the country as living memorials to the 1986 Challenger space shuttle crew.

The Catholic Diocese of Knoxville previously announced that Notre Dame alumnus George Valadie would take over leadership of the school.
