Ruth's Chris Steak House opens in Chattanooga July 1

Chattanooga's first Ruth's Chris Steak House will open July 1, franchise owner Markham Oswald said today.

The high-end restaurant will handle all of the food and beverage service for the 203-suite Embassy Suites, a seven-story luxury hotel that will celebrate a grand opening on Shallowford Road on June 28.

The restaurant, which is connected to the Embassy Suites, includes a patio and seats 280 people. It will be open seven days a week, from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Oswald said.

"We're excited to be here in Chattanooga," he said. "We're looking forward to a fruitful relationship."
