Late fees to be added to Chattanooga, Rossville sewer bills

Beginning in September, Chattanooga and Rossville residents with delinquent sanitary sewer service fees will have to pay a 10 percent late fee.

If the service fee is not paid, the city will cut off your water.

This is part of a transition that started at the beginning of the year. In the past, residents paid Tennessee American Water for sanitary sewer service.

Now, they pay Chattanooga, the Hamilton County Water & Wastewater Treatment Authority or Rossville.
