A 21-year-old woman is being held on a $1.5 million bond after she opened fire on a car full of other women last month, according to a Chattanooga police arrest report.

Raven S. Bragg, of Chattanooga, reportedly opened fired on a purple Honda Accord in front a residence at 708 West 47th Street. She was arrested Tuesday.

One of the women sustained a gunshot wound to her knee and was taken to a hospital on Feb. 24.

The five women told police they were on their way to the residence to attend a cookout when Bragg opened fire, according to the report.

"All victims in the this case stated that the defendant began shooting into the vehicle and continued to shoot until she was out of ammunition, went into the residence ... to reload her weapon, and then came back outside and continued shooting into the vehicle," the report states.

Brandi Burton told police she tried to run from the scene but a round struck her right knee.

Bragg reportedly walked up to the vehicle to fire at close range but had already run out of ammunition, according to the report.

Police documented bullet holes in the vehicle, and recovered two spent nine millimeter casings from the scene. Officers executed a search warrant at the residence and found items including a live round and an empty holster. The gun was not located, according to the report.

Bragg faces five counts of attempted first-degree murder, five counts of aggravated assault and five counts of reckless endangerment. Her court date is set for March 19 before Hamilton County General Sessions Court Judge Christine Sell.
