Crews to resume search for man who fell into Mississippi River

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Crews are expected to resume searching for a man who fell into the Mississippi River.

WMC-TV reports emergency crews were called to the river Sunday afternoon when 37-year-old Bone Leang fell into the waterway from a boat ramp in Shelby Forest and did not resurface. Officials say Leang didn't know how to swim and is presumed to have drowned.

Crews weren't able to find Leang on Sunday and were expected to resume searching this morning.

Brent Perkins with the Shelby County Fire Department says the river is low right now, but it is still dangerous.
