Crime Stoppers and the Chattanooga Police Department are seeking information on the identification of an armed convenience store robber.
The suspect is described as a black male around 6 feet tall with a medium build and medium skin complexion. At the time of the robbery he sported a full, neatly trimmed beard.
He entered the Citgo gas station located at 1700 E. 23rd St. on Jan. 29 about 7 p.m. and revealed a silver handgun to the clerk, threatening to kill him if he didn't give the suspect money from the register.
The clerk complied and the suspect ran out the door and across the street where another witness saw him get into a dark colored Nissan Altima.
