A suspect in the Jan. 29 shooting on Morrison Springs Road in Red Bank has been arrested in Prince George's County, Md., according to a news release.

Red Bank Police Chief Tim Christol said Maryland officers arrested Terrance Palmer, 23, of Chattanooga, after local detectives obtained warrants this week. Palmer is charged with attempted murder, aggravated kidnapping and reckless endangerment in the Red Bank shooting.

The victim was shot in the leg in the incident near the corner of Morrison Springs and McCahill Road. The Red Bank shooting victim's name was not released.

He also was charged in Maryland for possession of a stolen vehicle and a firearm, Christol said, and he faces charges of aggravated robbery in an October robbery in Red Bank. Christol said extradition is being coordinated through proper channels that include the Hamilton County District Attorney General's Office and Prince George's County Prosecutor's Office pending resolution of those charges.

His bond has been set at $850,000.
