Tullahoma police seek armed man

Tullahoma authorities in Coffee County, Tenn., are seeking an armed man in connection with a domestic dispute and shots-fired call that happened late Wednesday on Normandy Road.

The suspect in the dispute, Shawn Michael Luce, fled with keys and firearms, leaving his vehicle abandoned in the road around 11 p.m. CDT, according to a news release.

Luce is described as a white man about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 150 pounds who was last seen wearing blue jeans and a camouflage tank top shirt. His age was not given in the release.

Police said they went to 1505 Normandy Road where the victim in the domestic dispute was being interviewed and six gunshots rang out nearby.

"At 11:28 p.m. more shots were fired in rapid succession," the release states. The incident triggered a search Wednesday night and Thursday morning by Tullahoma police, Coffee County deputies and the Tennessee Highway Patrol's helicopter.

Luce is considered "armed and dangerous," according to authorities. "Do not approach him."

Anyone with any information about the incident or Shawn Michael Luce's whereabouts should call the Tullahoma Police Department at 931-455-0530 or email tpd@tullahomatn.gov.
