Bicyclist sustains minor injuries when struck by hit-and-run driver in Ooltewah

A local bicyclist said the driver of a blue Chevrolet Camaro struck him and then fled the scene while he was riding in Ooltewah last week.

The victim ran off the road in the 4300 block of Green Shanty Road on May 6 because of the impact and suffered minor injuries, including a broken nose.

The vehicle had silver stripes on the side and Tennessee tags, the victim told deputies.
