UT Vols' coach Donnie Tyndall finishes putting together his staff

KNOXVILLE - Tennessee coach Donnie Tyndall has completed the hiring of his full-time staff.

Tyndall announced Friday the selections of J.T. Burton as director of player development, Beau Braden as video coordinator and R.J. Rush as special assistant to the head coach. All three have experience playing for Tyndall or working alongside him.

Burton spent the last six years as head coach at NAIA school St. Catharine College. Braden was an assistant at Morehead State the last two years. Rush follows Tyndall from Southern Mississippi to Tennessee.

Tyndall announced on April 30 the hirings of assistants Al Pinkins, Adam Howard and Chris Shumate, director of basketball operations Justin Phelps, strength coach Todd Moyer and Jareem Dowling as director of player development. Dowling later decided instead to remain an assistant at Southern Mississippi.
