New jobs tileA new employment staffing company is coming to Chattanooga, and it plans to start helping a manufacturer fill 300 jobs that were previously announced.
The staffing company wasn't immediately identified, but the jobs relate to Volkswagen supplier Plastic Omnium.
The company is building a $70 million factory at Enterprise South industrial park and it has captured work to build bumpers for the automaker's new sport utility vehicle.
Winning the SUV work, along with other business, will help smooth the way for Plastic Omnium to employ about 300 people, the company has said.
The staffing agency is to announce its plans for filling the jobs on Thursday at the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce's offices.
