A 36-year-old Texas man was found stabbed to death in Calhoun, Ga., early Sunday.

Calhoun police say officers were called to respond to a domestic dispute on West May Street at 1:22 a.m. on April 5. On the way there they saw a vehicle sitting off the roadway and found the dead man sitting in the passenger's seat.

John Joseph Morgan, 36, of Hamilton TX, appeared to have died from a stab wound to the chest, Calhoun Police spokesman Tony Pyle said.

Morgan is believed to have been in the Calhoun area for the past few months.

James Thomas Ennis, 56, and Giovanny Preston Britton, 44, were both charged with murder Sunday night. They remained in the Gordon County Jail Monday.

Pyle said it doesn't appear that the domestic dispute reported on West May Street was related to the killing -- officers didn't even find a home at the address they were given.

Pyle said the victim's name will be released once his family is notified. The body has been sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation's Crime Lab in Decatur.
