A person was shot this morning at the Meridian at Hamilton Place, Chattanooga police say.
The victim, Samuel McCormick, 29, was shot by an unknown suspect during a physical altercation at the 7301 East Brainerd Road apartment complex.
McCormick was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries and was later released.
Investigators are still working to determine the facts surrounding the incident.
