Doug Minor and Norma Jo Grinnell

A woman was found dead on Lookout Mountain this morning, the DeKalb County, Ala., Sheriff's Office reports.

Around 4 a.m. deputies responded to a house at 1587 County Road 127. A woman was found dead inside, possibly from blunt force trauma to the head, according to a news release. Bruising was also found on the body.

The woman's body has been taken to the Department of Forensic Science in Huntsville for an autopsy.

The sheriff's office says there are two persons of interest in the case. Homeowner Doug Minor reportedly left the scene in a 1998 White Ford Ranger with tag number 28BJ617. Norma Jo Grinnell may be a passenger in the vehicle. Anyone who spots the vehicle is asked to call 256-845-3801.

Minor is age 32, six feet tall, and weighs 190 lbs. and Norma Jo Grinnell is age 36, and five feet five inches tall. She weighs 185 lbs. The sheriff's office says the two are considered "dangerous and maybe armed."
