Four people have been arrested and charged with burglarizing Boyd-Buchanan School this morning.

A Chattanooga police officer was dispatched to the school around 4 a.m. on a report of suspicious activity, according to a news release. The officer found an SUV backed up to the gate to a side entrance.

Authorities say the four people inside the SUV refused police commands and were detained.

In the rear of the SUV, 21 MacBooks belonging to the school were located (approximate value of $14,700). Additionally, a locked box filled with 25 Mini iPads belonging to the school was located near the gate (approximate value of $7,500).

Officers located a school window that had been broken out where entry to the school was made.

The suspects include 18-year-olds Deshunn Cummings and Cameron Barnettan, as well as an 11-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl.
